Energy Market Authority (EMA) Forum 2013

Philip.EMAforum2013On 7th June 2013 I spoke at Singapore’s EMA Forum. The theme of this year’s Forum was energy efficiency

The title that I was given for my presentation was “China’s transition to an energy efficient economy. Insights and implications for Singapore”.

The main issues I addressed were:

  • the packaging of energy efficiency policy and the need for strong political leadership.
  • the advantages of ‘picking the low-hanging fruit” first.
  • the societal challenges in addressing residential, office and transport energy efficiency.
